London Calling - Screenshots from Day 1 & 2

Shots from the indie movie I'm currently shooting, tentatively titled 'London Calling'. Will blog more about it at some point. Starring Justin Chan, Chermaine Poo, Melissa Maureen, Khairil M. Bahar and Johan John. Shot with my trusty Canon XM2 and the 'Kabij' lens adapter.

Did you shoot upside down or did you fix it in post?

*london calling to the faraway towns, now the war is declared and the war come down*

shoot upside down, but we were recording direct to hard drive with Adobe On Location which allowed us to flip the image so we could view it in real time the right way round on the laptop whilst shooting.

Wow, interesting how there is also a glow! Though, from my photographic background, I found the indoor scenes a bit dim. Also, which lens did you end up buying?

Justin Guber (23.11.07 17:38)
the indoor scenes were actually re-shot today, 'cos they were too damn dark. if I was shooting on HD without the kabij I could have gotten away with it, but not on DV. I ended up grabbing a 50mm Olympus lens, f1.4.
